Bob Hollis Bio
Bob Hollis is an L2 Advisory Board member and contracting partner. As the founder of The Mobius Network, LLC Bob brings expertise in progressive technology and sustainable management solutions to the L2 portfolio.
Prior to founding The Mobius Network, LLC, Bob owned and operated a national recruiting firm specializing in environmental management positions. He continues to operate numerous environmental job boards including RecyclingJobs.com. His career includes more than two decades of management experience with organizations ranging from start-ups to fortune 500 companies. As a former General Manager with a major national hotel chain he has had direct management responsibility for more than 300 managers and associates.
Mr. Hollis has served as a board member or advisor to a variety of environmental organizations including the California Resource Recovery Association, the California Integrated Waste Management Board, Rock the Earth, Conservation Value Institute, the Greening Initiatives for Venues and Events Technical Council, the California Sustainable Business Council, and Universal Remediation, an award winning oil spill clean-up company based in Pittsburgh, PA. Bob has also served as an elected public official in El Dorado County, CA where he continues to provide contract management services for local government agencies.
Mr. Hollis has been a speaker at numerous events for environmental organizations including the California Resource Recovery Assocation, The Northern California Recycling Association, and the US EPA Science and Technology Council. His educational background includes a BS in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a graduate business and liberal arts education at the University of Chicago, and post-graduate studies in Environmental Management at Harvard University. Mr. Hollis is the recipient of multiple Gold Consultant Awards from Carlson Learning Company.
