L2 Environmental

Kelly joined L2 Environmental, LLC. (L2) in January of 2011. With a previous professional background in the financial services industry, Kelly came to L2 with a wealth of knowledge and experience in business. Kelly has worked on projects throughout the Bay Area involving the coordination, promotion, and implementation of organics and recycling diversion programs for restaurants, retail shops, hotels, tourist destinations, residential properties, and special events. Ms. Gillette has experience with the design and implementation of zero waste programs through effective resource management, providing environmental preferred procurement methods, assessing resource patterns and presenting equipment recommendations, as well as organizing education and outreach sustainability practices. The recent completion of her undergraduate degree in the four-field discipline of Anthropology (Sonoma State University, May 2011) has provided a unique value to L2’s environmental consulting services. Within the past few months, Kelly has successfully completed two certification courses offered by the California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA): Beyond Recycling: How Businesses get to Zero Waste, and Zero Waste for Special Events and Venues.
